Mosaic Knitting & Chart Reading: 10/25, 4-6p - Heather

Love the look of stranded colorwork, but want a simpler way to achieve the look? Mosaic is for you! Using slipped stitches, we’ll create a stunning two-color geometric cowl designed by our friend Shannon of Cascade Yarns. 

We’ll also use this mosaic pattern to learn how to read and use a chart to make things even easier! 

Skill Level: Advanced Beginner/Intermediate

Must know knit/purl; cast on/bind off and joining in the round will be done independently. Must be fairly comfortable with recognizing and counting stitches.

Materials: 

Cascade 220 Superwash or 220 Merino in two contrasting colors or comparable yarn

US 5 & US 6 16” circular needles

Stitch marker
