No-Sew Leggy Froggy: 11/12, 1-3p
What: This little leggy guy is a great way to dip your toes into the wonderful world of amigurumi! Starting with a chain instead of a magic ring, this will provide a less intimidating start while you learn how to work in rounds. Arms and legs are added while crocheting the body, creating a no-sew experience!
Prerequisites: Single crochet stitch
Materials:
- Copy of the No-Sew Leggy Froggy pattern, available via Anita Louise Crochet
- 1 skein of *Cenilco Jelly, Cascade 128 Superwash, or another bulky weight yarn
- Crochet Hook size: Cenilco Jelly version - US J (6mm) / Cascade 128 Superwash version - US I (5.5mm)
- locking stitch markers
- 10mm Safety eyes (or black yarn if giving to a child)
- Fiberfill and a small amount of black and pink yarn for face embroidery will be provided!
When: Wednesday, November 12th, 1-3p
Instructor: Kate
Price: $35
Homework: None!
*The Cenilco Jelly yarn is wonderfully soft and makes a fun stuffed animal, however is not recommended for complete beginners. If you are not confident in recognizing your stitches, I recommend using Cascade 128 instead as you will be able to see your stitches much better!
