Intro to Tunisian Crochet: 2/25, 1-3p - Kate

Tunisian crochet is a fun cross between crochet and knitting. You use a long crochet hook (or an interchangeable hook connected to any length of cord) to pick up stitches and close them off. This method of crochet is great for dishcloths, wearable accessories, and even sweaters. This class will focus on chain stitch (a classic crochet stitch) and Simple Stitch (the most basic of Tunisian Stitches). If you’re feeling extra adventurous during class, we can throw in a few surprise stitches to play with too ;)

Skill Level: Beginner - Some crochet experience is recommended but not required

Materials: 50g Worsted weight cotton in a light color (I suggest Cascade Nifty Cotton)

Classic Tunisian Crochet Hook size US J (6mm) OR Tunisian Interchangeable Crochet Hook size US J (6mm) w/ 8" cord (Knit Pro Hooks / Cords & ChiaoGoo available for purchase)
