Beginner Crochet Class: 1/14, 1-3p - Kate

Learn how to crochet your way! Are you looking to start with the basics and perfect your technique? Or do you want to challenge yourself and learn multiple stitches in one go? You make the call during this class! No matter how you learn or what your pace may be, this dishcloth can provide a great start to your crochet journey. We’ll start off simple with a base chain and single crochet, going over how to hold the yarn and hook. Then we’ll start to focus on tension and stitch recognition. Then it’s up to you if you want to turn this simple dishcloth into a sampler by mastering more stitches.

Skill Level: Beginner - This class is built for beginners of all levels, whether you’ve held yarn before or not.

Materials: 50g Worsted weight cotton in a light color (I suggest Cascade Nifty Cotton)

Crochet Hook size US H (5mm)

Stitch markers (recommended but not required)
