Hip to be a Granny Square! w/ Kate: 9/10, 1-3p

Crochet Granny Squares are classic and versatile. They can be used for blankets, trivets, scarves, plushies, and more! You'll get to choose either a basic pattern to help you get to know these timeless squares or a slightly more advanced version. Bring 2 or more colors to practice changing yarns or if you’re new to working in the round, stick with one skein (maybe a self striping!) so you can focus on construction.

Skill Level: Confident Beginner - Must have crocheted before. Must feel comfortable holding the hook and yarn. Familiarity with different stitches is recommended but not required.

Materials you will need to bring: 

- Worsted weight yarn (Choose 1 to 5 colors, allow at least 50g total)

- Crochet hook size H (5mm)

- Locking stitch markers

Homework: None! Pattern will be provided in class.
