Crochet in the Round: 4/8, 1-3p

Learn how to work in the round and conquer one of the most popular crochet patterns out there: Granny Squares! Granny Squares are classic and versatile. They can be used for blankets, trivets, scarves, plushies, and more! Feel free to bring 2 or more colors to practice changing yarns or if you’re new to working in the round, stick with one skein (maybe a self striping!) so you can focus on construction.

Skill Level: Confident Beginner - Must have crocheted before. Must feel comfortable holding the hook and yarn. Familiarity with different stitches is recommended but not required.

Materials you will need to bring: 

- DK weight yarn or thicker (Choose 1 to 5 colors, allow at least 50g total)

- Crochet hook size G/4mm or bigger (to suit your yarn choice)

- Locking stitch markers

Homework: None! Pattern will be provided in class.
