Zauberball^®Starke 6 is Crazy's DK-weight cousin. This DK weight gradual color change yarn is uniquely designed. Schoppel Wolle has dyed each of its two plies individually in different colors to give Zauberball Starke 6 its bold self-striping pattern, and the heavier weight makes this a fun choice for sweaters and scarves.

Stärke 6 translates to “strength 6” and refers to a it being of a slightly heavier and sturdier weight/quality than the normal Zauberball. This means nice thick socks or shawls! It does not mean 6-ply as has been otherwise suggested, the yarn is a 2-ply.
